The whole staff was incredible. Bee checked us in and was super friendly. Offered us a bigger room because of how much luggage we had with us. The second day was my birthday/anniversary and we received a lovely card from her and the staff which was very thoughtful. The room was beautiful and had plenty of room to unpack and organise things. Everything was clean and we received new clean towels when needed. The staff helped myself carry the luggage up the front stairs and to our room as my partner was finding parking. Overall we had a fantastic stay and will be recommending the York for future stays!!

The staff were the best thing about this hotel! They were helpful and really welcoming - it's such a shame that the other things about the hotel let it down. The room was clean aswell.

Clean and nice just what we was looking for

Lovely clean room. Slightly outdated though. Bar and restaurant was excellent and in a great location

Room was a good size and clean with plenty of storage space and a nice comfy bed, the location is excellent for walks on the beach, the pier and a gentle stroll into town for shopping a meal or a few drinks. The hotels food (evening meal) as excellent i had a mixed grill my partner the steak both were delicious and worth the money with large portions and excellent quality ingredients. The service was a big plus, the staff from the general manager to the waitress and bar staff were polite, friendly and helpful 10 out of 10 and well done, we will be returning very soon. Minus point was the parking none on site however the multi storey car-park next door had overnight staying on the first floor £12 for the whole stay so no problem really (if you have breakfast at the hotel they pay the parking for you).

It was in an excellent position for the Playhouse. It had a lovely sea view from ghe bedroom and also from the bar/restaurant. Tha staff were very welcoming and helpful and polite. The room was clean and spacious, it was also very warm, maybe a little too warm but we opened the window and that sorted that.The food was excellent, overall a very good experience and would definitely go there again. In fact I'm visiting Weston-super-Mare again in June but alas it's fully booked.

What I liked best was if I wanted a lazy day in I didn’t even have to leave the hotel they have everything you could possibly need there already

Location was right on the front, place was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. We came back New Years Eve from town as we felt relaxed and spent the night there seeing in 2006 enjoying being able to get drinks easily and the inhouse entertainment.

Staff are really friendly , helpful , make u feel like ur part of the family in the hotel , always go the extra mile for people
